DMCA Policy
Rangers Hero Var respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, Rangers Hero Var will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Rangers Hero Var service and/or website (the "Site") if such claims are reported to Rangers Hero Var's Designated Copyright Agent as described below.
This policy outlines the procedure for filing a notice of copyright infringement and for filing a counter-notification if your content has been removed unfairly.
Filing a Notice of Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content available through Rangers Hero Var infringes your copyright, please send a written notice of infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following information (please consult your legal counsel or see 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3) to confirm these requirements):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Rangers Hero Var to locate the material (e.g., URL(s)).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit Rangers Hero Var to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that the material you posted on the Site was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent by submitting a written notification containing the following information (please consult your legal counsel or see 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3) to confirm these requirements):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Rangers Hero Var may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement or an agent of such person.
